PNE South Africa, formerly known as WKN Windcurrent, has been active in the South African Renewable Energy market since 2011. Our local team comprises of highly experienced development experts, including project developers, site analysts and land negotiators, leveraging the expertise of our international teams, working together on the realization of various renewable energy projects. Our team specializes in early-stage development tasks, including but not limited to identifying new project sites, securing land lease agreements, resource measurement campaigns, permitting processes, grid planning and project optimization.
As a member of the PNE Group, PNE South Africa benefits from a strong network consisting of long-standing experts with industry-specific know-how. Therefore, while our core focus in South Africa is early-stage project development planning and selling off developed projects prior to construction to suitable investors, globally we offer our customers all services along the life cycle of a project – professionally, from a single source.
